The GPS data on the photo below shows the photo was taken in the Gulf of Alaska, in Sitka Sound, near Japonski Island. The GPS data is "57° 2' 11.04" N ,135° 21' 48.42" W" in case anyone wants to zoom in on this area on an online map.
